Normally, I write far too much for the ideal blog post. It's a habit I find hard to control, but today, I'm just going to post a few photos that I've taken in the past week. It's been a quiet few days; work is finally over; Koos is recovering his equilibrium (literally – he's had a balance problem); and I'm getting used to a new rhythm for a while. We're not going faring, not yet anyway (long story to do with Koos' equilibrium), so I'm focusing on planting, painting and penning (okay, writing).
Oh and some walking too. In fact, we've had some lovely walks, punctuated by some sinful treats, so here are a few moments that I've captured.

DeletePoor Koos. That sounds miserable, especially for one who enjoys faring. I hope he feels better soon. I had a similar problem, but probably not as serious as Koos. My doctor had me lay down on the table with my head dangling off at one end. Then, he grabbed my head with both hands and jerked it in the direction of which ear was messing with my balance. Weird, huh? Then he helped me sit up. I felt like a cartoon character whose eyeballs were spinning in my head. After a few minutes, he helped me down from the table and the problem was gone. Very strange. Oh, if those flowers are tiny, it may be what we call in the south, a shamrock plant. Xxoo
ReplyDeletePoor you, Patti! That sounds a bit dramatic..haha. I'm glad they didn't shake your brains out as wel as your eyeballs! Koos ' balance problem is on the mend, so he hasn't needed that, but now he has a bad finger that's actually making him feel ill...poor man is in the wars :(

DeleteIt looks like a quiet and peaceful week, although I guess a bit too peaceful for Koos. I am glad he is getting over his balance problem, and hope that the finger will heal soon too. Your patio looks delightful! and the weather seems to have been nice too.
ReplyDeleteWe’ve been very lucky, Jenny. There’s been practically no rain so far and pleasant temperatures for spending time on outdoor jobs. Perfect, in fact! Koos is on the mend, but it takes a bit of time!

DeleteUnless I'm much mistaken, the flowers are bindweed, convolvulus, for I can make out the twisted stems, here going horizontally, and some arrow-shaped leaves.
