Thanks Janys! By the way I love your new profile pic...gorgeous! Funnily enough, my writing is also driven by blogging, because I've always posted chapters one by one on a special blog. The comments from readers keeps me going. Another fave saying (I'm full of training jargon) is 'feedback is the food of champions" ;-)

THANK YOU dear friends. I am still pretty busy with work, but it's not quite as stress filled as it was and now I do at least have a few hours to myself.
ReplyDeleteSome very good news came my way today about my writing. There is a publisher in the UK who is interested in both Watery Ways and the Skipper's Child. It is a small company and they ask teh authors to help with the marketing drive, but they carry the costs of publication and getting the work out there. I am absolutely thrilled! Now I have to get busy and send them copies of both books. So far, they've had the synopsis and teh first three chapters of each. Woohoo! It's not definite, but it IS a good start ;-)
It's good to hear that things are slowing down for you, Val. It sounds like it has been a bit of a tough go for you.

Dale, yes, in a word. I'm still a bit overloaded, but in a week or two things will be a lot better. I must learn to say no...no.....no....no.. see I can get the hang of it if I try...
