Today was about dappled sunlight through green, green leaves. it was also about spreading green fields and tall, stately trees. In fact it was all about this land of Flanders which I am beginning to love so well with its quiet waters and sharp, rippling reflections; so, in the words of Joni Mitchell, here is a taste of Just a litte Green. ReplyDeleteWow, it looks as though you're drowning in green - and water.
Your photos really manage to convey how much water there really is where you live. I actually feel at sea level (or below...) when I look at them.
The crops with the trees in the distance remind me of Ontario farmland. It's far different than where I live.
My new post might manage to convey a totally different perspective!

Verrry nice. Funny that when I saw the caption - Just a little green - Joni's song came into my mind. (she was a huge musical influence on me in the 70s). She wrote that song about the daughter she gave up for adoption. She named her Kelly (as in Kelly green). The meaning of that song didn't come to light until the adoption became public about 10 years ago or so.

Vally, how stunningly, perfectly beautiful. There is an incredible "neatness" about this lanscape that is so unusual to my eyes, accustomed as they are to wilder terrain and less disciplined fields. it is amazingly peaceful. And that ladybird and fly picture! Wow.
