Dear blogging friends,
I'm taking a brief pause in posting. There are some things going on here that need my focus and have to be sorted out. I hope to be back before too long, though, and I will still visit my regular haunts in blogland and comment on yours. For now, here are a few photos from this year to brighten the dreary days of November and to give something more to this post. In no particular order:
|
Oude Haven, Rotterdam |
|
My grandpup, Charlie |
|
Fortified church, Aisne, France |
|
Harbour and slipway, Torun, Poland |
|
Autumn leaves near Assenede, Belgium |
|
Zeeuws Vlaanderend, Netherlands |
|

|

|
Northern France, near Cambrai |
|

Some wonderful photos, Val. I love your grandpuppy Charlie! All the best to you as you take a well-deserved break, and I wish you a very happy and peaceful Christmas and a great New Year.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Patricia, and the same to you and yours! 🎅
DeleteThanks for the pictures, they certainly do enhance a dull day as it here on the Thames just now. Whatever is going on in your life Val that makes you take a pause from the blog, may it conclude effectively to your hopes and desire.
ReplyDeleteCarol Apologies if you receive this more than once!
No, only the once, Carol. Thank you for the kind words :)
DeleteThat Fortified church in Aisne is one place I would like to visit.
ReplyDeleteHad passed through Rotterdam while going from Amsterdam to some place (now I don't remember where)
Northern France is incredibly beautiful, Haddock. Never let anyone tell you differently.
DeleteLovely photos Val especially in this dull day here. Cute doggie. Enjoy your break.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Anne. I thought I'd replied to this yesterday, but it seems my brain is so scrambled I just thought it and didn't do it!
DeleteLovely photos, Val. Truly international. Thanks for sharing them, and your friendship~ Amy
ReplyDeleteBless you, Amy. Thank you too. I'm sorry I've only replied now, but as I said to Anne, my brain is a bit scrambled right now xx
DeleteI will miss your weekly visits, Val! However, I know you won't be far away. I hope all is well and I understand how life can take over, leaving little time for extras.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely photos - beautiful, all of them. I chuckled at the roof dog, and dusk in Sas van Gent took my breath away.
Much love from your friend, Dale xxx
You look after yourself, our Val! Or I will have to come over and help you!
ReplyDeleteHaha, Carol, that sounds more like a nice promise than a threat! xxx
DeleteKnuffels from us all.
ReplyDeleteKnuffels gratefully received and reciprocated XXX
DeleteGood luck with whatever is going on and I hope it all works out as you hope.
ReplyDeleteMany many thanks, Brian and Diana. I hope it won't be for long now :)
