A brief pause

Dear blogging friends,
I'm taking a brief pause in posting. There are some things going on here that need my focus and have to be sorted out. I hope to be back before too long, though, and I will still visit my regular haunts in blogland and comment on yours. For now, here are a few photos from this year to brighten the dreary days of November and to give something more to this post. In no particular order:

Oude Haven, Rotterdam

My grandpup, Charlie

Fortified church, Aisne, France

Harbour and slipway, Torun, Poland

Autumn leaves near Assenede, Belgium

Zeeuws Vlaanderend, Netherlands

Gdansk, Poland

Doglet on a roof, Olhao, Portugal

Evening over the harbour, Sas van Gent, Netherlands

Northern France, near Cambrai

Woodlands, Brabant, Netherlands

  2. Thanks for the pictures, they certainly do enhance a dull day as it here on the Thames just now. Whatever is going on in your life Val that makes you take a pause from the blog, may it conclude effectively to your hopes and desire.
Carol Apologies if you receive this more than once!

  3. That Fortified church in Aisne is one place I would like to visit.
Had passed through Rotterdam while going from Amsterdam to some place (now I don't remember where)

  6. I will miss your weekly visits, Val! However, I know you won't be far away. I hope all is well and I understand how life can take over, leaving little time for extras.
These are lovely photos - beautiful, all of them. I chuckled at the roof dog, and dusk in Sas van Gent took my breath away.
Much love from your friend, Dale xxx
